Transportation Safety Board of Canada investigates fatal seaplane crash in Quebec

MONTREAL — The Transportation Security Board of Canada is investigating a seaplane crash in Quebec’s Mauricie location that killed a 63-calendar year-previous guy. Provincial law enforcement say they had been identified as all-around 3:45 p.m.

MONTREAL — The Transportation Security Board of Canada is investigating a seaplane crash in Quebec’s Mauricie area that killed a 63-yr-previous guy.

Provincial police say they had been identified as close to 3:45 p.m. on Sunday just after witnesses described that a seaplane experienced plunged into the St-Maurice river, in Shawinigan, Que., about 150 kilometres northeast of Montreal.

Shawinigan resident René Martel was pulled from the plane and taken to medical center exactly where he was declared lifeless. 

Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau states police searched the crash website for other travellers but concluded Martel was most likely by yourself aboard the airplane.

She suggests the plane was eliminated from the drinking water around 1 a.m. and will be examined by the security board.

The protection board states it dispatched a team to look into the cause of the crash.
