Mexico, N.Y. — A Parish male was thrown from his bike Friday evening when the bike and a vehicle collided in Oswego County, troopers reported.

Bruce W. Hinman, 74, was driving west on Route 104 on a 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle at about 5:17 p.m. in the city of Mexico when the motorbike and a 2015 Dodge Dart collided as the car was obtaining off Interstate 81 at Exit 33, State Law enforcement spokesman Trooper Jack Keller mentioned Saturday.

The motor vehicle was building a left transform at the intersection when the driver, Luke Gollaher, unsuccessful to generate the correct of way to Hinman, Keller claimed.

Hinman was transported to Upstate College Healthcare facility in Syracuse, the place he is in critical issue, Keller said.

Gollaher, 27, of Adams Heart, was not wounded in the crash, Keller claimed. He was tested at the scene and confirmed no signals of liquor impairment, Keller explained.

Law enforcement are continuing to look into the crash, Keller said.
