Bugatti EB110 SS heads to auction; will we see a new record?

The last time a Bugatti EB110 came up for auction, it offered for above $3 million, breaking all earlier records. RM Sotheby’s is now offering not just one, but two EB110s at its London auction. Will the bar be elevated at the time once more?

All eyes will be on the Bugatti EB110 Super Activity when it rolls onto the auction block. This is one of only two autos completed in Bianco Monaco and one of 30 Tremendous Sports ever constructed.

Powering the EB110 SS is a 3.5-liter quad-turbocharged V12, powering all 4 wheels by means of 6-pace handbook transmission. The motor puts out 603 hp @ 8250 rpm and 479 lb-ft of torque @ 4200 rpm. The car can achieve a claimed leading pace of 221 mph.
