A motorcyclist and a passenger in a auto ended up seriously wounded Sunday morning soon after the Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed into the aspect of the motor vehicle on River Street, according to Puyallup police.
Around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, the motorcyclist was headed east on River Highway from the county into the town, reportedly driving recklessly and at risky speeds, Chief Scott Engle stated.
Meanwhile, a woman and a teen in a car were turning still left from River Highway into the parking good deal at a Value Village retailer in the area. That’s when the motorbike slammed into the passenger facet of the car at a large pace, he mentioned.
The gentleman on the bike, who law enforcement suspect was impaired, endured serious injuries, as did the male teenager passenger, Engle mentioned. Both of those were being taken to area hospitals.
For the duration of the investigation, traffic was delayed on eastbound River Road.
Chief Engle explained about 2:20 p.m. Sunday that River Highway was about to completely reopen to visitors.
